PlayStation 5’s latest update brings new features


Sony’s PlayStation 5 console newly got its update and brought some new characteristics and modifications. The new features have the storage expansion and management for both the PS5 and PS4 consoles.

PS5 users can transfer their PS5 games from their console’s internal storage to an external USB storage. Now, Users expand the storage capacity of their consoles relatively. It now quickly reinstall games with the copy method faster than re-downloading entire games.

The new features have cross-generation Share Play allows Share Play together while chatting at parties. It let their friends on the PS4 view their game screen through Share Play and vice versa. The Options with share the screen with a friend, pass the controller to a friend or pass a second controller with co-op games together.

The “Request to Join” serves to send a game invite, reducing the time into games with friends. The Privacy Settings menu can modify and interact through parties, games, and messages.

The PS5 Game Base menu improved for access to important elements and notifications to be turned on or off for each party. Users can allow disabling game chat and individually control the volume of other players in the chat.

Title updates for games with users have to pre-download to the console if automatic updates are enabled. Then, users immediately start playing the new version of their games. It is easier to find content, personalize the game library view, and adjust the magnification of the screen.

The PlayStation app with players can join a multiplayer session on PS5 from the app. The app is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
