Apple is working on a self-driving car and going to launch the car in the market in 2024. Apple soon found into the automobile industry after phones, laptops, and audio products. It started working on Project Titan its auto venture. There is a report that Apple could produce a passenger car with its battery technology. It was claimed that Apple had started working on the project in 2014, and had shelved its plans of producing cards in 2016. Now freshly, it has started working on producing a vehicle after shelving the idea earlier.

Apple car project said that the car would be a passenger car and would introduce a battery which reduces the cost of the batteries and increase the vehicle’s range. Apple plans to use a unique “mono cell” design that bulks up the individual cells in the battery and frees up space inside the battery pack. It has active material that can be packed inside the battery, giving the car a potentially longer range. These things are reported by Reuters. Apple has plans for “elements of the system”. The Cupertino big plans to use LiDar sensors to get a three-dimensional view of the road.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said in 2017 that “Apple’s autonomous driving software, we are focusing on autonomous systems. It’s a core technology that we view as very important. We sort of seeing it as the mother of all AI projects. It’s probably one of the most difficult AI projects actually to work on.”
