Everything we expect to see at Microsoft’s Build 2021 annual developer conference

Microsoft Build 2021 will be all online and to live stream the event by signing up on the Build 2021 website. After Google wrapped up its I/O 2021 event earlier this week. The event is set to go live on May 25 and go on till May 27. The event is also free to stream live for anyone interested. The company is expected to showcase more updates and other consumer products from the company.

The future of Windows

Windows 10 hasn’t been the popular product at previous Build conferences. It is expected to continue this year focusing more on developer experiences like Project Reunion. The Microsoft with the big visual revamp of Windows planned for the second half of the year. Its features and visual designs could be something see in a new Windows implementation. The technologies from Windows 10X can be integrated into other parts of Windows. The New changes include a modernized touch keyboard, optimized key sizing, sounds, colours, and animations, and expected to come to the 1.3 Billion devices across the world.

Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge is the company’s Internet Explorer successor. It is based on the Chromium engine with new features like Vertical Tabs, a Performance Mode, and a Kids Mode. At the Ignite conference, its plans to merge the codebase between the mobile and desktop versions of Edge, which allows easier updates and cross-porting of features.

Microsoft 365 and Teams

The conferencing tools like Microsoft teams effected by the Covid-19 pandemic. These features are expected to be another big part of the event. Teams and Microsoft 365 received many updates with a Bookings app. The new Lists app during the Build 2020 event last year.
