One of the features of iOS 14.5 is the ability to unlock the iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a mask. It has the bypass Face ID to unlock the iPhone. Face ID is tremendous during the pandemic. The recognition feature doesn’t work when half of the face is covered with a mask. This new feature still requires the face or passcode.
App Tracking Transparency
Apple is expanding some big changes when released iOS 14.5 update. This feature requires user permission for apps to track people across other apps and websites. Both Facebook and Apple have been committed to privacy changes.
iOS 14.5 is the nifty feature called the battery recalibration feature. It displays the health status of the battery of the device. The new feature recalibrates the maximum battery capacity and the peak performance statistics. Users can access the battery recalibration information under Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
Two new Siri voices
Apple allows you to pick a female or male voice for the digital assistant. It is also adding two new Siri voices for English speakers. Apple’s digital voice assistant with music-listening preferences.

The iPhone 12 supports dual-SIM 5G with the phone’s physical SIM and e-SIM access to 5G. The feature is great for travelers and adding support for a PlayStation 5 DualSense or Xbox Series X/S controller. Users can play games on the iPhones using PS5 and Xbox Series X/S controllers.
