Google Stack is currently under development. It is only available for Android users in the USA. Google Stack scan documents, store and search for quick information. Lets users scan and keep the documents organized. Similar outstanding document scanning apps are like CamScanner and Microsoft Lens.
Christopher Pedregal, Team Leader at Stack said that “I joined Google a couple of years ago when my education startup, Socratic, was acquired. At Socratic, we used Google’s computer vision and language understanding to make learning easier for high school students. I wondered if we could apply the same technologies to make organizing documents easier,”.
The Stack app is capable of scanning bills, documents, and receipts, and turn them into PDFs. It will also be able to automatically name new files. The ability to search for something in scanned documents. Face lock or fingerprint lock is also integrated into Stack to protect the documents from unauthorized access.
Google Stack keeps a copy of the data backed up on Google Drive for easy access in case users stop using Stack. The app is still in the early stages of its development. It can easily download Google Stack from the Play Store if you’re in the US. Indians have to wait until Google makes the app available in their country.
