The Vivo X70 Pro+ is scheduled to launch next month and it’s expected to come with a Snapdragon 888, 8GB RAM, and a quad rear camera setup.
Vivo is all set to launch its new flagship device the Vivo X70 Pro+ soon. Renders of the device have already been doing the rounds online and the rear panel on the Vivo X70 Pro+ looks rather similar to the Mi 11 Ultra with its quad rear cameras and space next to the camera module. We don’t know yet if this space is for a second screen or if it just a design element. The rest of the design, as per the renders, appear to be similar to the Vivo X60 Pro with a curved display and a punch-hole cutout on the front for the selfie camera.
A few hardware specs of the Vivo X70 Pro+ have also been spotted online and going by those the next Vivo flagship is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 and according to a company executive, it is also going to feature Vivo’s first ISP chip V1 that’s likely to improve the image processing capabilities on the device. The executive also mentioned that the launch is going to happen in September.
The rather sizable rectangular camera module on the back of the Vivo X70 Pro+ looks similar to the Mi 11 Ultra. The quad-camera setup on the back includes laser autofocus and an LED flash. The Zeiss branding was also spotted on the renders. The power button and volume rockers are on the right side of the Vivo X70 Pro+ and the bottom houses the speaker grille, the SIM tray, and the charging port. The smartphone should reportedly have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ was spotted on Google Play Console with two other X70 models and as per this listing, the device is going to be powered by the Snapdragon SM8350, which is the Snapdragon 888. It was listed with 8GB of RAM, but that’s not the only model Vivo is going to introduce during launch. The device is hinted to run Android 11 with FuntouchOS 11 on top. There’s not much more we know about the device yet but given that September is not too far away, we just have to wait a few days more.
