Samsung announced a new wireless keyboard named the Smart Keyboard Trio 500. It’s a compact wireless keyboard with a very similar design to Apple’s Magic Keyboard. It has the twist with the DeX shortcut to use the desktop-style interface on compatible Samsung devices. DeX launched on the Galaxy S8 back in 2017. It allows accessing select Samsung phone or tablet apps in a windowed interface similar to a desktop computer. It becomes the true desktop replacement Samsung originally tuned it as. The keyboard can be paired with up to three devices, and switch between them.
The smart Keyboard Trio 500 has a couple of other tricks up with customizable shortcut buttons to open the commonly used apps. The keyboard is paired with up to three devices, and switch between them using shortcut keys. It draws power from AAA batteries, which are not rechargeable. Samsung hasn’t released the date on its page for the Smart Keyboard Trio 500, but the Unpacked event coming up on April 28th with official soon.
