The company finally released the first beta version of OxygenOS 11 which allows users to test new features before they are stable updated.OnePlus is going to bring the first OxygenOS 11 Open Beta to build for the OnePlus 8T. The update is based on Android 11 which brings a bunch of optimizations and Android security patches for February 2021.
This is going to be a beta version of OxygenOS 11. The OnePlus 8T users can back up all their data before they proceed. This is not a stable build and the beta version can have some bugs. Download the latest update to keep the battery percentage of the device to at least 30 percent to free up 3GB of space and stay connected to Wi-Fi. So, when the user goes back to the stable version, all the contents of the phone will be erased.
OnePlus has all the key updates in this build. It improves UI for the status bar and optimizes frame rate stability. It improved the game playing experience and optimized the Community home page with a more noticeable notification. Users will also now notice clearer and better animations for cloudy and sunny days in the Weather app. It added a new layout for the cloud service in the Gallery app. If users try the beta version of the OxygenOS 11, they can download the flashable zip package from the links provided by the company.
Users have to install the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 on OnePlus 8T, then copy the package to your phone’s internal storage. Users have to go to the Local upgrade section. Then, user visit Settings > System > System Updates > Click top-right icon > Local upgrade and click on the corresponding installation package. Just tap on the upgrade button when the update is complete. Then, the user reboots the smartphone. Users can go back to the stable version any time they expect.
