Google testing a new design for its in-app browser


The new design features provide a bottom bar with shortcuts for navigation, sharing, and others. It is reportedly testing a new layout for in-app browser on the Google app. The new layout captions a bottom bar in the browser which is currently available in the Android beta. There is no word when the feature will get updated. The new bottom bar is easier for users to navigate on modern phones with larger screens. The bar features traditional navigation forward and backward shortcut and a share shortcut in the bar. The three-dot menu get shortcuts to refresh the page, open the page in the Chrome browser, find content in a page, browser setting and share feedback from here.

Google also brings a new update for its Calendar users and brings a small but useful change that is relocation of search button to the top of the navigation bar. It use the search shortcut to check the upcoming events. The update is available to the Calendar app on the Android platform and available for iPhone users very soon.
