Google is going to change the way users use its online cloud storage system. It will shortly stop offering free storage for photos and videos for its Google Photos service. The photos and videos users upload from June 1, 2021, will give only 15 GB of storage free. The owners of Pixel 5 will be exempted from this uploading of photos. It will come into effect from June 1, 2021.

Users can backup photos and videos in Photos, log in to their Google account. Then, click at the top right, tap your account profile photo. Next, select Photos settings and tap on or off under the “Back up & sync”. Google will inform you when mail starts reaching the limit.
Google currently offers 15GB of free space that covers apps Gmail, Drive, and Photos. It will be going to add a new tool starting from June 1, 2021.
